🚀 Role Summary

As a Data Scientist (Campaign Effectiveness), you will:

  • Build statistical models that measure the true impact of marketing campaigns

  • Execute causal inference, hierarchical modeling, and longitudinal analysis

  • Work extensively with R, SQL, SPSS, and multi-year campaign databases

  • Develop data-driven insights that shape high-stakes digital marketing strategies

  • Contribute to normative standards, analytics frameworks, and methodology improvement


🔥 Key Responsibilities (High Impact Tasks)

📊 Advanced Statistical Modeling & Causal Inference

  • 🧩 Conduct causal inference, including:

    • Hierarchical modeling

    • Difference-in-Differences

    • Longitudinal design analysis

    • Control-based causal estimation

  • 📈 Perform twinning, imputation & driver analysis using ML methods

  • 📐 Build predictive and statistical models in R

🗄️ Database Management & SQL Engineering

  • 🛢️ Query, retrieve, transform, and manage campaign databases using SQL

  • 📁 Create and maintain multi-study database structures

  • 📉 Pull curves, generate norms, and manage thousands of historical model curves

💡 Analytics & Insights

  • 🔍 Conduct ad-hoc exploratory data analysis in SPSS

  • 🔥 Evaluate campaign performance trends using statistical techniques

  • 📊 Perform annual norms calculation and post-curve processing

  • 📘 Maintain institutional knowledge around norms, data cleaning, QC processes

🧠 Modeling Operations & Workflow Management

  • 🚀 Execute all modeling processes end-to-end in R

  • 🧼 Implement thorough data cleaning, alignment, and consistency checks

  • 🧾 Document insights, analytics decisions, and methodology updates


🎓 Qualifications (Must-Haves)

📘 Education

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in:

    • Data Science

    • Statistics

    • Computer Science

    • OR any quantitative field

💼 Experience

  • 7+ years in Data Science / Analytics

  • Proven experience with:

    • Campaign Effectiveness

    • Market Research Analytics

    • Longitudinal data models

    • Advanced R programming
