Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our Private Equity Finance team, with a focus on financial reporting, GP accounting, and capital/waterfall modelling. The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of experience in private equity accounting or audit, with strong expertise in partnership accounting, carried interest, and PE fund structures. This role involves preparing GAAP-compliant financials, managing GP/ManCo accounting, supporting carry calculations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Proficiency in fund accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva, eFront) and advanced Excel skills, including waterfall modelling, are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP / IFRS / local GAAP.
  • Liaise with auditors to support annual audits and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with external administrators and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate NAV and investor reporting.
  • Maintain consolidation schedules and oversee financial close processes.

GP Accounting:

  • Maintain books and records of General Partner (GP) and Management Company (ManCo) entities.
  • Process capital calls and distributions related to GP commitments.
  • Track GP commitments, co-investments, and carried interest allocations.
  • Manage partner-level accounting and performance reporting for GP partners.

Capital & Waterfall Modelling:

  • Support carried interest (carry) allocation calculations and distribute carried interest reports.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating waterfall models.
  • Reconcile partner capital accounts and internal rate of return (IRR) reporting.

Compliance & Control:

  • Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Assist in regulatory filings and investor due diligence requests.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and transfers between GP, LP, and affiliated entities.

Preferred Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in private equity accounting, financial reporting, or audit (Big 4 or Fund Admin experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of partnership accounting, PE fund structures (GP/LP), and carried interest mechanics.
  • Proficient in accounting/reporting systems (e.g., Investran, Geneva, eFront, or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills: experience with waterfall models is highly preferred.

Working Conditions
