🚀 Role Overview

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for driving the architectural vision, technology roadmap, and design excellence across Datamatics’ BFSI vertical.

You’ll define and enforce architectural best practices, guide high-performing teams, and ensure that all solutions are secure, compliant, and future-ready.

This position is ideal for senior professionals who combine technical mastery, strategic thinking, and leadership influence.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✅ Technical Leadership:
Own and oversee architecture for BFSI projects (India VBU), ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards.

✅ Solution Design:
Lead the architecture and design of enterprise mobile and web applications; define high-level and low-level design documents.

✅ Innovation & Strategy:
Stay updated on emerging tech trends — AI, cloud, microservices — and implement them strategically in BFSI products.

✅ Architecture Governance:
Implement optimized code review processes, ensure adherence to security, performance, and scalability standards.

✅ Talent & Team Development:
Mentor architects, analysts, and developers; create a long-term talent strategy for the technology practice.

✅ Hands-On Expertise:
Engage in occasional coding and solution prototyping to unblock teams in agile environments.

✅ Cloud & Integration:
Design microservices-based architectures, manage APIs, and oversee deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

✅ Compliance & Security:
Ensure BFSI compliance with RBI, PCI DSS, and data privacy laws such as DPDPA.

✅ Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering

• Advanced certifications (TOGAF, AWS, Azure) preferred

💼 Experience:

• 15+ years of overall IT experience

• 5+ years in architecting enterprise mobile & web applications (BFSI preferred)

💻 Technical Skills:

• Expertise in backend development (Java / Node.js / Python)

• Strong command of microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and API architecture

• Experience with React, Angular, or Node frameworks

• Knowledge of databases – Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Solid understanding of data privacy, BFSI compliance, and DevSecOps

• Knowledge of Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift, Objective-C), React Native, Flutter

• Hands-on experience with MVC, MVP, MVVM patterns

🏦 Domain Expertise:

• Experience in BFSI product engineering and regulatory environments

• Understanding of RBI guidelines, DPDPA, AML/KYC frameworks
