Node.js Developer – Backend & AI Integration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with experience in TypeScript, REST APIs, AI-assisted development tools, and server-side architecture. The role involves building secure, scalable systems, integrating AI APIs, and collaborating on innovative backend solutions for web and mobile applications.

As a Node.js Backend & AI Integration Specialist, you will design and develop server-side application logic, build scalable APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions. This role also emphasizes using AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, and documentation to accelerate productivity and innovation.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔹 Analyze project requirements, identify challenges, and propose technical improvements
🔹 Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architectures using Node.js
🔹 Write clean, reusable, and high-performance code using TypeScript
🔹 Develop and integrate secure RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
🔹 Test, debug, and optimize backend performance and security
🔹 Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components
🔹 Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality and quality
🔹 Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, LangChain) to enhance development, documentation, and speed

🌟 Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ 1+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js development
✔ Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming
✔ Experience with NestJS (required) and familiarity with ExpressJS (plus)
✔ Knowledge of relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
✔ Practical experience with Postman, VS Code debugging, and API testing
✔ Ability to create secure, scalable REST APIs
✔ Familiarity with server-side templating engines (EJS, Handlebars, Twig, Jade)
✔ Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and front-end basics
✔ Experience with unit and integration testing
✔ Experience using AI-powered coding tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, or Codeium
✔ Familiarity with AI APIs/SDKs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain)
