🎯 Position Overview

As a Salesforce CPQ Tech Lead, you will lead the technical delivery of Salesforce CPQ implementations and system integrations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence in Salesforce projects while adhering to best practices for system development, integration, and DevOps processes.

This role is perfect for someone with 10-12 years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years of strong Salesforce development experience on the Force.com platform and at least 1-2 years in a Salesforce architectural role.

📋 Key Responsibilities

As the Salesforce CPQ Tech Lead, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading Salesforce CPQ implementations from discovery to go-live phases, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and quality standards.
• Designing end-to-end scalable, secure, and reliable Salesforce CRM solutions using Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and CPQ modules.
• Transforming Salesforce Classic applications to Lightning Experience, optimizing performance, usability, and user experience.
• Writing and reviewing Apex Triggers, Batch Classes, Controllers, and other Apex components while ensuring coding best practices.
• Integrating Salesforce with external applications via RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and generating Apex web services.
• Building Visualforce Pages, Components, and Visualforce Remoting functionalities.
• Implementing effective unit testing frameworks for Apex code, including web service mocking for seamless system testing.
• Managing Salesforce security models (Profiles, Permission Sets, OWD, Sharing Rules, Apex Sharing, etc.) to maintain system security and compliance.
• Designing and optimizing complex SOQL and SOSL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Collaborating with enterprise architects, business analysts, and project managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Applying Salesforce integration patterns and leveraging APIs for seamless data exchanges and bulk uploads.
• Handling release management and deployments using ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Copado, Git (AWS Code Commit), and DevOps practices within the Salesforce environment.
• Mentoring junior developers and technical leads while promoting Salesforce best practices and design patterns.

✅ Total Experience: 10.00 to 12.00 Years

✅ Salesforce Development Experience: 5+ Years
✅ Salesforce Architecture Experience: 1-2+ Years

• Salesforce CPQ Implementation & Customization
• Salesforce Best Practices for System Development & Integration
• Deep understanding of Database Design and System Architecture
• Salesforce Classic to Lightning Migration Experience
• Apex Programming: Triggers, Batch Classes, @Future Methods
• Apex REST Web Services, JSON parsing, and Visualforce Development
• Effective Apex Unit Testing and Mocking
• Salesforce Clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud
• Salesforce Data Model & Security Model
• Proficiency in SOQL & SOSL
• Salesforce API Integration and Web Services
• Knowledge of Release Management Tools: ANT, Metadata API, Copado, Git, and DevOps pipelines
• Experience in Salesforce integration patterns and bulk data upload processes

Good to Have:

• Experience in Salesforce Billing
• Salesforce Certifications like Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer II, Application Architect
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Confluence
